Tower of Gremmvaud DEMO 2!!!
Demo 2 responds to the initial phase of playtesting and includes the following fixes as a result:
*Coordinate map grid -- helps facilitate easier communication of player and object location between the DM and players.
*Built-in Tutorials -- Mini-tutorials populate the screen providing instruction on how to negotiate each encounter situation. Can be toggled on/off.
*Music Toggle -- Self explanatory... Until certain bugfixes, it is recommended to use this as a means to restart the music when needed.
*Contextualized hints -- Hints are more likely to appear in relation to relevant situations. Can still be cycled through randomly as well.
*"Sell" Menu added to the Elfina's shop -- gives purpose to monster corpse loot. Like shop inventory, items demanded for sale are often randomized.
* Two more floors!
*Tavern!
Known bugs
*Wanderer portraits do not always appear as needed
*Music does not continue after "recruitment" fanfare
*Sporadic errors in "Next Floor" promptings
Work in Progress
*"Keywords" system (hinted at in previous demo)
*Improved selection of message/thieves cant results
Other notes:
*Tutorial Button on Start Menu is a work in progress (please ignore the mess!)
*Credits button on Start Menu is similarly faulty...
* Working on Signing the program so firewalls/antivirus etc won't read it as sketchy when you download it! (Please bear with me...that alone is a surprisingly arduous process!!)
*Round 2 of playtesting begins....NOW!!!
